General

Do you offer discounts on bulk orders?

We are more than happy to create a custom discount for you to use when making a bulk purchase. Please contact us and let us know and we'll get right onto it for you!

Do you have a physical location?

No, unfortunately I don't have an area for anyone to come and look at the games in-person, at the moment the only way to browse the available games are at cashforgames.co.nz.

How do I get free shipping?

All orders that are over $70 will receive free overnight shipping at checkout.

How do I place an order?

Place an order by browsing our games here, add the ones you'd like to own to your cart with the 'Add to cart' button. Click the cart button on the top right and complete the checkout process.

Where are you based?

Cash for Games is based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

How much do you buy games for?

The amount we pay for games is impacted by the condition, the console, the quantity of games, the pickup location, and a few other factors. Please send us an email with some photos of your games and we'll give you a price.

Are all games tested before being sold?

Yes, all pre-owned games we have listed on our website have been tested past the main menu at the very least. The amount of the game we test depends on the condition of the disc. If you have bought a game from us and are having any issues please contact us and we will sort it out immediately.

Shipping

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free for all orders over $70

Non-rural delivery (1-2 days) - $9.99

Rural delivery (2-3 days) - $14.99

How long until my order is sent out?

We dispatch orders daily at 12 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding weekends and public holidays). We appreciate your understanding if unexpected delays occur.

What if my order hasn't been sent out yet?

If your order was placed within our shipping hours but hasn’t been sent within 2 business days, please contact us so we can investigate. While we strive to dispatch all orders on time, sometimes uncontrollable delays occur.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately we don't have an automatic system setup to ship things outside of New Zealand, however please send us an email and we can try and sort out a manual sale if shipping outside of New Zealand.

How can I track my order?

You will receive an email automatically as soon as your order has been picked up by the courier. If you did not enter your email or your tracking number is showing incorrect information than please contact us with your order name and number and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Shop Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Union Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and After Pay. Please let us know if you'd like us to add any other payment methods.

Can I change my order after placing it?

Yes, as long as the order hasn't been sent out, we are happy to modify your order. Just send us an email with your order name and number and what you'd like changed about your order.

Do you have buy now pay later?

Yes, so far we only have Afterpay but are working towards adding other buy now, pay later services such as Zip. Please let us know if you'd like us to add any others.

Can I get a refund for my game?

Yes, if your game has any issues, doesn't load properly, or the condition isn't as described on our website, you will receive a full refund once the game has been sent back and inspected.
